ABOUT sol AND tom

Owners of the château since September 2020, we had this idea of buying an old house to turn into a retreat centre for a very long time. When we encountered the château, we knew right away that it was the place of our dreams!

Between the old stones, the vines climbing onto the majestuous entry tower, the old orchard surrounded by stone walls discretely hidden from the large courtyard behind a door, the century-old chestnut tree, the small stream running, the historical woods. This place filled with magic and poetry immediately became our sanctuary.

Sol, creator of peaceful creative experiences for knitters

Since 2018 Sol has been hosting knitting retreats in beautiful peaceful locations in France and Europe. They gather small and diverse groups of passionnate knitters from all over the world looking for a peaceful experience to do a creative pause and grow together. The Château de Parançay is now the location for their retreats with its inspiring and grounding atmosphere.

Tom, creator of intuitive music

Tom will accompany you on meditative experiences by playing his monochord. This instrument will make you travel, experience deep visualisations and reconnect to yourself. He also shares the daily life of the château on Instagram with Troubadour the Old English Sheepdog, the chicks Feisty, Fierce et Fabulous, Hooper the indoor cat and the three wilds cats.
